Making it through the traffic of Ho Chi Minh City was the initial difficulty Linda and I needed to face when we got here. On motorbike taxi we drove to the insane web traffic to our hotel, a quite harmful experience initially (especially for Linda). To show, almost everywhere where you are looking are motorbikes, and they are driving as morons.
We asked the male; "What regarding a driving license, we do not need any kind of?" He stated; "No off course not, if the authorities quits you, you just pay one million Vietnam Dong ($50) and you will certainly be fine". Ok, that's the way of dealing with problems below. Next experience we faced was obtaining out of this insane city, which offers you no mercy! In the morning (prior to the peak time) we got away Ho Chi Minh and went on a less congested roadway to Mui Ne, a beach community south-east of Vietnam (medische matrassen kopen).
Not a problem to take your motorbike in the bus, if you pay! Hoi An was a fantastic city to visit. There were many things to see, and the old center was actually lovely with good structures and temples. This city was very vibrant, with a great deal of markets, night life and delicious food.
Far, we hadn't significant difficulty with our motorbike! We figured out a road (QL 8A) which was a shortcut between the Ho Chi Minh East and Ho Chi Minh West tracks.
Go for it, only thirty kilometers. This was the even worse choice ever before. The roadway was a hill pass, and the rain the day before had actually transformed the road into a mud path. Brave and without offering up we proceeded the road, after two hours we drove almost ten kilometers.
The clutch was broken, yet we found a person near the road so pleasant to fix it temporarily by changing the clutch with the hand brake! We discovered some road workers and one of them was so pleasant to take Linda on the back of her bike and we proceeded that means.
Our shortcut did not exercised, after 6 hours, mud almost everywhere and a broken motorcycle we reached the Ho Chi Minh West route. We made it after a great deal of blood, sweat and rips (we believed). Only 100 kilometers to drive to our final destination Phong Nha. natuurlatex matras. Another incorrect estimation, off course you can not drive this distance in only 3 hours (before it ended up being dark).
The individual was really pleasant and also prepared us a great dish and at night we played some Chinese chess. Linda and I were grateful we were conserved and even located these hospitable people. My financing educator always discovered me; "there is no such a point as a complimentary".
With all rotten luck worldwide, the gear of Linda's bike damaged. medische matrassen voor rugklachten. Only the fourth equipment was functioning, and just the fourth equipment is not helpful in the mountains. With a rope and a whole lot of initiative we drew the motorcycle with a rope attached to the various other (working) motorbike uphill
Another morning we invest battling with our bike, yet finally we made it (after another 4 hours) to Phong Nha. At night we marketed the motorcycle of Linda straight, however the electric motor was ruined throughout the day. However, we appreciated the lovely and big Paradase cavern and the massive hills in the national park of Phong Nha.
Time for some relaxing after the motorbike ordeal, Linda and me went on a 2 day (one night) cruise ship to Halong Bay. Throughout the cruise we went to a cave and went in the bay by kayak.
Our last trip we made to Sa Pa, virtually five hours drive from Hanoi. Sa is renowned for their rice paddies, which are everywhere. Very first day in Sa was really chilly (only 10 degrees) and we had to purchase some extra cozy clothes. Unfortunately it was very clouded, so we can not see any type of rice paddies.
It was returning in time for at the very least 100 years. Your house was constructed from raw materials and she was living there with her family members on twenty squared meters. There was no kitchen, just an open fire where they prepared on. Furthermore, the fire was likewise a manner to heat up your house, with smoke everywhere in your home (unhealthy).
The following day we proceeded our walking and ended up at her sis' place. Surprisingly, there was a huge event going on for Tet (Chinese New Year), Mu welcomed us for lunch with her family members and once more we consumed a great deal and we intoxicated happy water.
Linda and I are very thankful to Mu, we appreciated her stories and the hiking. The last day in Hanoi we offered likewise our last motorcycle for an affordable cost (after some initiative).
